Our dress socks are designed to fit the human leg anatomy and provide most comfort on the calf area of the leg. They are constructed with a controlled tension benefit, so our socks will fit better and comfortably on the calf area because it simply contours to the shape of the leg. (Patent Serial# 62/449,136)
The most advanced socks use the 200 needle machines. The higher needle count machines makes durable denser socks (not thicker) and the fine gauge allows the socks to fit better. The denser the sock, the finer patterns are and the more comfortable it feels.
Another feature of Henley & Marlow socks is cushion sole for our dress sock collection. The bottom sole is constructed with terry knit padding which gives nice cushion support, but doesn't create bulkiness because we use finer yarns and advanced 200 needle machines to make our products.
Flat seam toe closure eliminates abrasion and adds extra comfort on the toes.
The heels and toes for entire Henley & Marlow collection are reinforced with a nylon yarns for longer wearing.
The entire Henley & Marlow collection is knitted with two, proficiently twisted threads. The resulting knit is so perfect and fine that each touch brings a renewed, pleasant surprise.
Lycra spandex is soft and has the greatest amount of stretch and restoration. Lycra spandex stretches and shrinks gently, so it is not too tight and does not fall down easily. It is an highly elastic that will keep you looking smart and make your socks fit well. The entire Henley & Marlow collection has a component of most well known brand name Lycra spandex in them.
